Manganui Lodge
Accommodation is provided in The Manganui Lodge, at the base of the lift facilities. This is true ski-in ski-out accommodation!! Rebuilt in 2004 (after a fire destroyed the old lodge in 2002) it is spacious, comfortable and warm. Perfect for families.
Non Member
Manganui Lodge is available for non member use, the lodge is administered and maintained by volunteers. Non member bookings are limited to exclusive bookings of the entire lodge currently set at $1000/night (up to 35 people).
Gate Key
Lodge Hirers are able to get a key for the track gate that leads to the track tunnel / goods lift area to assist with logistics, it is not intended for transport of passengers. Maximum 2 vehicles permitted up the track and left at goods lift (one trip each) 4wd with ground clearance required.
Goods Lift
Only to be used by trained club members
Should it be used and a derailment happens, goods are stranded until we can get an engineer to fix it which can be a number of days.

Rubbish
There is no rubbish or recycle service on the mountain
ALL RUBBISH MUST BE REMOVED - please plan for this -ie minimise packaging and consider crushable lightweight packaging (avoid glass)
Sleeping options include six smaller bunk rooms with between two-six guests in each room, some of those are ideal private rooms for families (double bunks). And one large bunkroom that sleeps eight.
Bathroom/shower facilities are shared (Mens & Womens).
We have no washing machine on site.
Guests are expected to assist with cleaning duties (duties assigned to each room) , and also assist with preparing ski area for the coming days operation (track clearing etc) (cleaning after your stay can be arranged as an optional extra to your booking fee). Accommodation is self catering, with guests required to bring their own food, and sleeping bags/duvets/towels (we provide pillows, please bring pillow case).
The canteen in the Ticket Office sells a small selection of soft-drinks, confectionery and snack food during the T Bar operational days.
We presently do not offer a ski-week option.
All accommodation is provided according to the terms and conditions set by the ski area management.
